When we decide to go to therapy
Listing a lot of reasons
We don't want to be unhappy, unenergized, and obsessive.
We are starting to look for a therapist to help us fix these issues.
What we desire
The therapist had to untangle the knots when we started the process
He must have loosened some of it, if not all of it.
It should make sense
It should make a difference
Should be able to add energy
He should be able to do a lot of things.
Let's put aside all these rules, requirements, and expectations.
I'll talk about something else in the therapy room that wasn't formulated.
So that,
Who wouldn't want to meet someone who looks into my eyes with their whole being for minutes, who listens to me, who makes me feel like I'm human, as we say, "being with people we don't have to worry about making mistakes with"?
Our need for this is clear. And it becomes more and more essential every day.
When we cannot accept ourselves and the life we live, when we beat ourselves up at times, when we cannot accept making mistakes and shortcomings, we look for the same perfection in our surroundings.
We can't find it.
In this case, the internal depressive state can lead to sociopathy if left untreated.
We learn acceptance, self-compassion, tolerance of negativity, and worthiness skills, both formally and informally, during the psychotherapy process.
The truth is that continuing these approaches and being around such people will reduce the need for psychotherapy.
This is the aim and desire of the experts.
